Enrico Andreoli, Montreal resident shares that locals can report to the Ministry of Forests, Wildlife, and Parks if they find injured animals like fox, coyote, raccoon, skunk, wild turkey, deer, or bird of prey. The public is encouraged not to hurt, pet, nor feed these animals. Interacting with these wild animals might pose a danger to humans as they might be hostile or harboring disease. To ensure the safety of everyone, locals must call professionals from the ministry that are equipped to handle and give proper treatment to these injured animals.
As there is a threat to the natural habitats of many animals, the Ecomuseum Zoo in Montreal is committed to providing a suitable home for over 115 animal species. Enrico Andreoli has learned that some of the animals in the zoo’s care have been orphaned or injured. On the other hand, some species have been born in the zoo.
